About the FOUNDATION
The foundation will contribute to families dealing with cancer in Wake Forest and the surrounding communities. It will assist in ways that affect the family's day to day ability to maintain order in their home as well as their lives. Things like providing meals, cleaning homes, yard maintenance, transportation to and from doctor visits and even helping with getting the kids to practice or dance are just some of the many ways the Foundation helps.

Catching Fireflies 5K to benefit Cancer Shucks

Join us for a night you won't soon forget. Walk / Run the streets of Wakefield that will be lit up with luminaries the entire way. Click here for details and registration.

The event is stroller-friendly and pet-friendly (pets on leashes), so make this a family event and bring everyone - we don't want anyone in the family left behind!
At the same time, you can honor a friend or family member who has battled cancer by purchasing a luminary with their name on it - to help light the way for others. A portion of the proceeds and 100% of the purchase price of the luminaries goes directly to Cancer Shucks.
